Viewed in Kinopalatsi 1, Helsinki, 5 April 2008. - Digital look. - An excellent film, the strength obviously stemming from the Khaled Hosseini book (which I haven't read), but this is also a piece of talented direction from Marc Forster (Monster's Ball). - The film gives passionate insight into the tragedy of Afghanistan through the life story of the two protagonists, Amir and Rahim.
