LUX VIDE S.p.A. was founded by Ettore Bernabei and Matilde Bernabei in 1992.
AA: The Bible Collection series, produced by the Lux Vide company of the Bernabei family, was a huge international success story in 1993-2002. It had good production values and top talent, including actors and directors.
The Jesus films have an original approach. Jesus is portrayed as a young man full of love, embodying the core message "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." (Matthew 22:36-40, King James Version).
The Jesus of this film is tender, human, vulnerable, laughing when he is happy and crying when he is unhappy. Openness in emotions makes him stronger to face the hardest challenge.
