Cinema attendance to Finnish movies has almost doubled in a year according to a report of The Finnish Film Foundation (SES) today. There have been 1,5 million visits to Finnish movies in 2012 so far in our land of 5,4 million inhabitants. Undoubtedly this is a result of the saturation release made possible by digitalization. Never before have so many copies of a Finnish theatrical movie been released simultaneously. The complete attendance records are on the SES website.
