Doron Galili (GSM): "How It Happened is an episode from a short-lived series of one-reel mystery films, Twisted Tales. The production company, Reciprocity Films, is unrecorded in the Library of Congress copyright catalogue. Adapted from a short story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, it is faithful to its literary source‚ the story of a rich man who is killed in an accident in the mountains while driving with his chauffeur. He nevertheless remains among the living, as a dead man, and encounters an old friend who died in the war." – Doron Galili (GCM)
