Tadžikistanin Pamir-vuoristossa paimentolaiset kuljettavat kesäkuussa laumansa ylös kesälaitumille ja palaavat takaisin laaksoihin syyskuussa. Kesäkausi merkitsee kovaa työtä, mutta nomadit eivät näe sitä sellaisena. He haluavat säilyttää perinteisen elämäntapansa ja työkulttuurinsa.
    
In Tajikistan’s Pamirs, shepherds bring their flock up to summer pastures in June and retreat to lowlands by September. Summer season means hard work, but nomads view it differently. They prefer to maintain their traditional lifestyle and work culture
